Slow down

It’s dinner at a friend’s. That’s the whole idea.

Not delivery. Not a restaurant. You travel to their home and eat what they cooked for the people at the table.

  1. 1

    Find dinner

A city, a night, how you eat. Photos of real kitchens and real food — not a menu board.

  2. 2

    Say you’ll come

Pick an evening. Save a chair. Pay the cook at the table — cash or card.

  3. 3

    Go to their home

You’ll get the door, a little note, and who else is coming. Shoes by the door. Something on the stove.

  4. 4

    A few words after

Both of you leave a thank-you. That’s how a stranger’s kitchen becomes a place you go back to.

Eat together

Put up a note, or fill the last chair at a table that needs more people. Not a date. You meet at dinner.
